Due to our location on the edge of a nature reserve, we bear great responsibility for protecting the forests, mountains, and Lake Schwarzsee. It was crucial to intervene in nature as little as absolutely necessary. One major topic, therefore, is nighttime lighting. Even the light colors were coordinated with experts and implemented according to their recommendations.
... Architecture
During construction, local wood was used wherever possible. Over time, the weathering process causes its color to blend increasingly with that of the surrounding forest. Additionally, the roofs are greened. This improves thermal insulation, protects against weather, promotes biodiversity, reduces rainwater runoff, and enhances the microclimate.
... Natural Heat Production
For cozy warmth in the whole building and pleasant bathing in the year-round heated infinity pool, we rely on geothermal energy and biomass consisting of wood chips, are obtained from local forest resources. By the way, geothermal energy also allows for cooling the building, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to air conditioning in the summer.
