From 19 November to 26 December 2025, the Hinterstadt and City Park transform into a magical Advent setting. The market is open Wednesday to Sunday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with special opening hours on 24 December from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm as well as on 25 and 26 December from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The aroma of roasted chestnuts and spiced fruit punch fills the alleys, while beautifully decorated stalls offer regional delicacies and traditional handicrafts. Local choirs and ensembles provide the festive soundtrack. And for the youngest visitors, there is a varied programme – from star painting and carousel rides to the Christkindl post office and the festive Nikolaus procession on 6 December.
